STS-75 Tether Incident "The Swarm"

On Sunday, February 25, 1996, the Space Shuttle Columbia deployed an experimental tether into orbit. The experiment was called the Tethered Satellite System (TSS- 1R) and it's purpose of this was to attempt to generate electricity by utilizing Earth's magnetic field.

Unfortunately the tether broke so the experiment was not a success, although approximately five hours of data were recorded.

What really made "The Tether Incident" famous was the appearance of many unidentified flying objects (UFOs) clearly visible in the NASA footage. They seem to swarm around the electrified tether. Now the tether is approximately 80 miles away from the shuttle. Many objects clearly pass behind the tether as you will see in the video. These objects "SWARM" around the tether. Based on the distance and width of the tether the objects are estimated to be miles in length! Some people and NASA claim that the objects are "Airy disks" and ice particles. How can this pass behind the tether miles away?

UFO Docking

Not sure what shuttle mission but this video shows a smaller object from the top left had corner meeting a larger object. They slow down and seem to merge. Very weird.

STS-48

In this video we see a flash and then an object that is over the earth seems to shoot off into space. Is this some sort of star wars weapon??

STS-51a

This is a strange video of an orb coming up to the shuttle. Some people say it is a drop of water on the camera lense. If it is a drop where is the flat part where it contacts the glass? It also seems to swing into view from nowhere. Interesting to say the least.

Weird worm looking object on space station

This is an interesting video of some object that looks like a worm. There are also a couple of pulsing/blinking UFO's that fly by. The worm object looks as if it is alive? It also could be debri from the space station.

In this video a NASA person tries to find the MIr space station. There are so many UFO's glowing, blinking and streaking she can't even tell which one it is. She never finds it.
